Encouraging our members to raise money for charities that are close to their hearts has led us to form some wonderful relationships with individuals and corporations that understand the benefits of giving back to their respective communities.
Whilst all franchisees are free to work with their members to identify their chosen charity SlimDance the company are grateful to be associated with The Joshua Foundation.
The Joshua Foundation was formed by a very special lady called Sarah Cornelius. Her story, both moving and inspirational, serves us all as reminder to live life to the full and do all we can to help those around us.
Take a moment to visit www.thejoshuafoundation.co.uk and we are confident that you will fully understand our desire to support Sarah’s cause.
To raise the profile of both organisations SlimDance and the Joshua Foundation are launching a number of high profile events.
In Wales, The Strictly Cymru Dancing Competition, at prestigious the Celtic Manor Resort, home of the 2010 Ryder Cup is one such initiative. On the back of the outstanding success of BBCs Strictly Come Dancing we are very excited to be helping the Joshua Foundation launch the most sought after employee training/fund raising program of the year. Using our best choreographers and dance instructors we will be training hundreds of entrants with a 12 week program from many of the leading companies in Wales and England. Friends and associates will be able to cheer each other on as they compete for the coveted title of best amateur at this glittering event.
After the amateur competition the audience will then be dazzled by a special display from the Stars of The BBC smash hit series Strictly Come Dancing!

Why companies and organisations will seek your help?
The event in Wales is just the beginning as we are already being asked to put on similar competitions all over the country.
There has never been a better time to offer major organisations a program that can greatly enhance the general well being of their staff. In the UK alone 175 million days were lost to sickness absence in 2006, costing the economy £13.4bn.
As a SlimDance franchisee you will be equipped to offer a program that brings real benefits to all organisations and is already being utilised by some of the highest profile companies in the UK.
In addition, we have also been fully endorsed by the Welsh Assembly Government via its Corporate Health Standard for promoting health in the workplace. All of these factors give you a powerful argument when offering your franchise services to the corporate sector which ultimately increase your income opportunities. With just ten companies or institutions utilising your service you will have already created a substantial income potential.
